About Team Africa Racing

The Long Game

Since 2018 we have been building a permanent home for Africa in American motorsport.
Arnout's Story

Built for the long game

Arnout Kok started racing 100cc karts in Durban in 1994. He worked his way through Formula Ford, Historic F1 and Late Models, becoming the 2017 European Late Model champion, and made his American debut in 2021 at Mid-Ohio, finishing ninth. In 2018 he founded the project that is now Team Africa Racing, with one aim: to use NASCAR’s audience to open doors for African business.
“I'm the guy going through, and hopefully there'll be other drivers from South Africa who follow in my footsteps.”
